Believe it or not, SunSootha Aftersun Oil started out as a Hair and Skin serum being sold mostly in salon settings. The product was originally called Pomé. 

Josh Barton, the now owner of SunSootha, was accidentally sunburned on vacation and his wife had some Pomé in her bag. He decided to use it to hopefully soothe his sunburned skin as he didn't have anything else. 

To their amazement, not only did it soothe his sunburn and help the skin to calm down but it also kept him from peeling and itching as his skin recovered. 

They thought they may have stumbled on something amazing. For years they continued to buy Pomé as their families AfterSun go to product.

Fast forward to now and Josh decided to own the formulation for Pomé, after months of further product testing and development to fine tune the formulation specifically for AfterSun recovery with properties like Prickly Pear Oil and we now have SunSootha. 

We are so excited to bring this accidental discovery to you, the little secret our family has had for years can now be shared with all Australians.
